What is 100% ???

What a shame it would be to get to your final run, you finish and feel like you had more in the tank. Guess what you got 365 more days hours of painful, exhausting, mentally taxing training till you get back to your final run. How can you make sure this does not happen?

One way that is extremely difficult to help ensure you don't waste all your training. TRAIN 100% as much as possible. I realized something while on the spin bike the other day, legs burning about to fucking fall off. A lightbulb went off to go harder. So I did and actually was able to go harder when all I wanted to do was slow down.

Why would it matter if you do it practice?

You have heard the term " you practice like you play" or better " you will play like you practice". It's true. Every cell in your body has a memory and if you train your body to push through those " I want to slow down" thoughts, you will.

All you guys have more ability now then you realize. You just need to learn how to tap into it. A great drill to try out is this:

10 30sec sprints on the rower with 1 minute rest
On your first sprint get 185 meters
Now get 185 meters on all 10
Try it, you will learn a lot about pushing yourself and being mentally tough, cause that's what it takes
