Being good at something requires more than hitting a good workout, or what you think is a good workout. Being good is requires a lot of hard work, concentration, learning, practicing and making sure you recover. Being great, well you better be willing to go above and beyond. Total commitment. Now if you just want to be good then great, you will get in shape compete with others and have a nice 6 pack at the beach.
Are you willing to do what it takes to be Great???????
Are you willing to Practice when everyone is sleeping?
Are you willing to study your sport and watch and learn from the best?
Are you willing to put your pride aside and do what its going to take?
Are you willing to make the time to do the little things that make a big difference?
Are you willing to concentrate through every rep making sure its perfect?
Are you willing to do 10000 starts, Hoists and Keisers till you are a frickin amazing at it?
Are you willing to learn about what you put into your body to keep it running at maximum?
Are you willing to sleep when everyone is having fun?
Are you willing to put some things aside so you can train with the team?
Are you willing to utilize every second of training to maximize your time?
Are you willing to find the parking garage to practice your stairs?
But really
Are you willing to put everything you have into these next 4 months so you don't find yourself saying " Fuck I should have done ____________, then I would have done better
I guarantee if you are not willing to do what it takes to be a champion, there is a lot of guys who are right now and make no bones about it.
Your last run time is a direct reflection on your preparation and effort....that is a fact.
This is our year....but only if you do what it takes and seize the opportunity......NO MORE FUCKING EXCUSES
