I breakdown every run and write stuff down. I will share what I thought of my run. So you don't make the same mistakes. Better you learn here then at a comp.
Getting a rhythm is important right before your run. Everything was a rush right before my run. They could not get the run orders straight so short late warmup. I fixed the hose bundle first then my hammer and dressed the dummy. By the time the race started the hose had flattened and I could not get my fingers under the pack so I bobbled the pack and tripped on the first flight. Then got to the top and fucked up the hosepack again, the hose was falling out of the bin and resting on my leg. The rest of the tower was slow I was not aggressive enough on the turns(which is the most important mental clue for a fast descent. Tower time :37
The Keiser was the only good part. Good transition. 1 small hit and 7 big ones. Time 7.4 sec
Cones were descent but I started to feel the dry air. Hose was really heavy with a lot more drag than usual. Slow ass dummy pickup and a :20 drag.
Overall: Horrible warmup and bad start were the culprits to not running a personal best along. But a great learning experience
Its better to get a early warmup than a shortened rushed one. And from now on I will check the warm side of the hammer, dress the dummy then last get the bow in the hose pack.
After I looked at my time I was pissed. But after analyzing everything I realized I just made a few minor errors that can be easily fixed and never made again. There is always something to learn from a run.
